Tariff Changes
Can your taximeter be updated?
We are currently able to change the price on the following taximeters;
- Cygnus MR400
- Cygnus MR500
- Cygnus Mirror Meter
VIking meters may need to be sent back to the manufacturer, if not one of our own to have the dealer pin changed.
- Viking V5
- Viking Mirror Meter
- Digitax F2
Cygnus MR320 & MR350
Cygnus has unfortunately stopped supporting the MR320 and MR350 (blue face) since the 1st of January 2020. This means that all though we can install the meter into other vehicles when it comes to a price increase Cygnus will not be making a tariff for these meters.
How much will it cost?
The price for 2022 is £25.00 per vehicle, it has been £15.00 for many years however as of this year, we as the dealer are being charged a fee for every taximeter we update. This is new to us this year and has unfortunately forced us to charge more.
When can I have mine changed?
Once notified of a new price change we have to get in touch with the manufacturers to create a tariff file for all the above types of taximeter, once this is available to download we can then programme our chips for the multiple meters and get out to you asap, however please bare in mind this is a very busy time for ourselves.
